Science is a subject which for most students is very easy to understand, but difficult to remember or retain the information. Especially in the exam hall, there are high chances you get stuck with an answer because you're not able to remember it, although you have understood the concept very well. Understanding each and every concept is very important! But as much as understanding is important, recollecting this information in the exam hall is also very important. No single mark must be left unanswered if you want to top the exam.
1) Make short notes - Once you're done reading a concept, explain about that concept in your own words and write it on a sheet of paper. Keep it really short and simple. Don't waste too much time on writing, but ensure that you write down all points in brief. This can act as your summary notes during your exam which you'll just take a glance at before the day of your exam.
2) Science diagrams needs to be practiced - Some diagrams in biology might seem really simple, but, when you sit down to draw it, it becomes difficult. So make sure you practice all the diagrams; the simple ones as well as the "not-so-simple" ones. Practice them thoroughly which'll make you a pro at them, thus will take only a couple of minutes to complete them in the exam hall.
3) Don't miss out on your formulae - All formulae in physics needs to be learnt well. Don't just learn the formulae, make sure you also learn the application of these formulae. You can refer class 9 science solution book for more problems and easy solutions.
4) Practice previous years examination papers - You won't fear examination if you've had the experience of it. For having almost-real experience of an exam, the best way is to solve previous years question papers. In the class 9 science solution book, you'll find some previous question papers. Solve these papers which will not just give you good practice but will also boost your confidence!
