Maths is the favorite subject for those who understand it and is a nightmare for those who don't. This has been the case since times immemorial and we can't blame anyone for that because that's the case with math. It's either a matter of cakewalk or a nightmare. Love it or hate it, you got to score well in every subject to increase your grand total score. Maths is not to be ignored right? So, here are some tested methods which'll help you score good marks in your class 9 maths. Here we go!
1) Practice important derivations Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
Derivations are one of the 'Must-Ask' questions in your question paper. Have a good hold on these to get marks easily. There are hardly some derivations, and with good understanding and practice, you'll be able to master them easily. Learn them all and you know that there are at least 5 to 10 marks in your pocket!
2) Make Last Minute Revision notes
Be it maths or be it science, you got to prepare last minute revision notes that will save a lot of your time during exams while you're studying them. These notes must be brief, short and entire concepts must be explained in the simplest manner. Write it in your own words and don't even think about borrowing thee notes from the class topper or your best friend. That's not going to help because the very purpose of short notes is to let 'you' explain things in your own way which'll help you in getting a better hold on the subject.
3) Practice sums only after you're done with the theory
Your CBSE class 9 maths books have considerable number of sums in the maths textbook. Solve all these sums thoroughly. But before that, ensure that you're done reading the theory part well. Most students overlook the importance of theory in maths. But let me tell you, you'll be able to solve all the problems accurately only if you have good understanding of the theory. To get your theoretical concepts right, your CBSE class 9 maths book is totally sufficient.
4) Write step by step answers in your paper
Your answer sheet is the only thing your evaluator can see and not your efforts behind it. So, take utmost care while you're writing answers. Avoid wastage of time during the exams in the exam hall. If you don't know the Solution to any problem, don't panic. Write step by step answers even though you don't remember the last 2 or 3 steps. You'll get marks for each step written.
